What services does The Flip Factory offer?
The Flip Factory offers:
- Classes in acrobatics, parkour, and related skills through The Flip Factory, as well as non-acrobatic skills through The Trick Factory
- Performances and equipment rentals, including our inflatable tumble track available for schools, camps, parties, and other celebrations
Class Structure & Curriculum
The class structure at The Flip Factory is adaptable to the needs of the students and the group size. Students may work individually at one station or rotate between multiple stations, depending on the class. The instructor ensures personalized attention, offering feedback, spotting, and safety guidance throughout the session. Whether focusing on skill progression or perfecting advanced moves, the structure is designed to help students build confidence and develop their acrobatics and parkour abilities step-by-step.
How does The Flip Factory ensure participants' safety during activities?
At The Flip Factory, we maintain small instructor-to-student ratios to provide personalized attention and help ensure safety. We encourage participants to progress at their own pace and emphasize that they should only attempt moves when they feel ready. To further support safe learning, we break down each move into manageable steps, ensuring participants can master the foundational skills before progressing. If needed, we break the steps down even further to suit individual comfort levels. Additionally, all sessions begin with warm-ups and stretches, and saftey mats are used to reduce the risk of injury. While we prioritize safety, participants should be aware that activities involving acrobatics or dynamic movement inherently carry risks that cannot be fully mitigated.
Will my child master a skill by the end of the session?
Participants work at their own pace and may not master a particular skill within the session. Progress depends on a combination of factors, including motivation, effort, and natural ability. While mastering a skill isn't guaranteed, participants will likely gain a better understanding of their abilities and progress after a few classes, helping them identify the next steps to take.
Class Logistics
What should I bring to a Flip Factory class?
Comfortable athletic clothing, grip socks, and water are recommended. Specific requirements may vary depending on the class.
How can I stay up to date about new programming & classes?
You can stay updated by subscribing to our Info & Updates WhatsApp group or signing up for our email list. This will keep you informed about new classes and programming that we offer.
Drop off & pick up
Parents are requested to be on time for all drop-offs and pickups to avoid disrupting the flow of other classes.
Do you offer classes for different skill levels?
Yes, our classes are designed to accommodate students of all skill levels. Each class is structured to allow personalized progression, with students working on drills and activities suited to their current abilities. Beginners and advanced students can thrive in the same class as each student is guided at their own pace.
Are there advanced classes available for experienced students?
Experienced students can continue to progress in our regular classes, as drills and activities are adjusted to their skill level. For those seeking more individualized instruction, private lessons are also available.
What is the minimum age requirement for your classes?
We typically offer classes for children from preschool through high school, as these are the age groups that show the most interest. However, we are open to creating classes for younger children or adults if there is sufficient interest.
Can my child attend more than one class per week?
Classes are generally offered on Sundays only. You may contact The Flip Factory to find out if a weekday class is currently being offered or if it can be arranged.
Private Lessons
Do you offer private lessons?
Yes, we offer private lessons tailored to individual needs. Contact us to schedule a session.
What is the cost for private lessons?
Can siblings or friends share a private lesson?
Yes, private lessons can be booked as either private or semi-private. Siblings or friends may share a lesson.
What is a semi-private lesson?
Semi-private lessons offer many of the same advantages as private lessons. Participants receive a greater level of personalized instruction than they would in a group setting, and they can customize the lesson based on their goals. Semi-private lessons may be shared with a friend or sibling, or the lesson time can be divided. Lessons are $40 for each participant and last approximately 1 hour.
Party Rentals & Performances
What types of performances do you offer for events?
We offer one-man performances for a variety of events, including birthday parties, school gatherings, camps, and other celebrations. Our performances are designed to be engaging and entertaining, tailored to suit the vibe of your event.
For those seeking an active element, we also rent out our inflatable tumble track—a large air-filled surface perfect for tumbling and interactive fun. Special pricing may be available when booking both services together.
How can I book a performance or Tumbl Trak rental for my event?
You can easily book a performance or Tumbl Trak rental by visiting the Performances tab on our website, where you’ll find a contact form and additional information about how to reach out. We’ll work with you to customize the performance based on your needs.
What is the inflatable tumble track, and how can it be used?
The inflatable tumble track is a 25-foot-long, 9-foot-wide inflatable surface ideal for practicing flips, tricks, or adding excitement to your gathering. It is available for rent and is perfect for birthday parties, school events, camps, and more.
How much does it cost to rent the inflatable tumble track?
- $100 per hour with a two-hour minimum
- Additional time can be rented in 30-minute increments
- For daily rates or custom pricing options, please contact us.
Do you travel for performances?
Yes, we can travel to your location. Additional fees may apply based on distance.
Payments & Discounts
How do I apply a coupon code?
After completing the registration form, the next step is to fill out payment information. At the top of the payment page there is a selection that says “Click here to enter your code”. Click on this selection and apply your code.
What is your refund policy?
There are no refunds for missed classes. When you sign up, you are reserving a slot in the class, which ensures that space is available and helps maintain the quality and structure of our program.
If there is a specific date you know at the time of registration that you will not be able to attend, please reach out to The Flip Factory to discuss before registering.
Additionally, if there are extenuating circumstances, you may reach out as well. We will do our best to accommodate, and in some cases, we may be able to offer a makeup class or other arrangement. These requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.
What is the cost for this program?
- The cost for group lessons is $125 per session (a session is five classes). A reduced rate of $100 is available for participants who are registered by the early bird deadline.
- The cost for private lessons is $75. A reduced rate of $65 is available when booking three or more lessons at a time.
The cost for a semi-private lesson is $40 per participant.
When is payment due?
Payment is due at the time of registration. Verbal or written confirmation without payment will not reserve a spot.
